An American Airlines groundstop was lifted today after a brief technical failure halted all flights within the US. Christmas Eve holiday travel plans were ruined for millions of Americans who hoped to have a holiday getaway. Flights resumed after the groundstop lifted, and American Airlines has given assurance that safety takes precedence till the technical problem ends.

President-elect Donald Trump has promised that the US will take back the Panama Canal, which was ceded to Panama in 1999, under treaty. Nippon Steel’s $15 billion deal to acquire US Steel will finally boil down to a decision from US President Joe Biden.
