Despite being decisive, the victory was not seen as a historical landslide.

2.  Trump Begins Appointing Cabinet and Senior Officials

After winning the election on November 5, President-elect Donald Trump has started choosing his cabinet and top administration personnel. Approximately 4,000 officials, including the heads of 15 executive agencies, must be appointed by him. These appointments will be confirmed by the Senate following his inauguration on January 20. The appointment of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead a new government efficiency department and Mike Huckabee as U.S. ambassador to Israel are important choices.

Unsettling information regarding Palestinian medical professionals detained by Israel has surfaced in recent reports, including the possible rape and death of one of Gaza’s most well-known physicians. Outrage has been aroused by claims of cruel treatment and abuse in Israeli jails. The disclosures draw attention to the region’s persistent human rights issues. International attention is still being paid to the plight of these medics.
